We can't do it without you!

OABA is a membership driven organization, and we need your ideas & suggestions to maintain the level of content we are striving for in each issue.  We intend to maintain a ratio of 60% article content to 40% advertising. This means that we want to build a large pool of article content for use in future issues.  This is YOUR chance to make YOUR voice heard in YOUR magazine.

We want and need your photos & article ideas.  Snapped a picture of that cute cria at play? In this age of digital cameras many, if not most of you, probably have some wonderful photos of animals in your herd.  Have an interesting story from your farm?  Let us hear about it.  Do you know someone else who has had an interesting alpaca-related experience.  Urge them to contact us about it.  You probably have a strong opinion of the kinds of articles you would like to see us publish.  Let us know!

Have a favorite kid's activity suggestion? How about farm-day activities?  Favorite fiber-related project you would like to share instructions for?  Do you have an interesting story about efforts to save a cria or an adult from a health crisis?  Perhaps your vet may have a "great save" story or a particular alpaca health-related anecdote that would make a great article.  Have a favorite recipe to share with fellow OABA members?  Useful training tips?  Interesting show experience story?

Do you have the basics for a good article, but are intimidated about structuring it properly?  Never fear - our wonderful editorial staff is at your service to help put the proper polish & finish on things for you!
